Altucher’s Secret Income Review (Is It The Real Deal?)

Hello and welcome to my review of Altucher's Secret Income.

I discovered Altucher's Secret Income through a presentation featuring James Altucher, who literally walks around New York showing random people how to collect $100's in “instant income” in less than three minutes.

And according to James, you could make instant income too, just by joining Altucher's Secret Income service for $2,000 and following the recommendations.

I must admit, the whole thing did seem a little too good to be true. But James Altucher is a real trading and investing guru, so I decided to take a closer look, and in this review I'll show you exactly what I discovered to help you decide if this is right for you.

Altucher's Secret Income Review

Altucher's Secret Income is a 12 month services headed up by James Altucher of Three Founder Publishing. The main idea behind the service is to provide you with weekly “Secret Income” Alerts for every week you're a member (52 alerts total).

And according to the presentation, you get these alerts every Monday morning, which are designed to help you exploit a market loophole and generate an immediate income.

And apparently this works even if you're new to trading and don't have much money to trade with. The general idea is to just follow the recommendations and instructions you're given to begin making money.

Of course, the full details on how James' method works is not revealed, otherwise you wouldn't need to join his service. So in order to get access to these “instant income” trade alerts, you need to join the Altucher's Secret Income service for $2,000 per year.

Admittedly, this does sound like an exciting opportunity.

I mean, who wouldn't want the chance to make hundreds, even thousands of “extra” money just by following a weekly alert?

You even get a report entitled “Magic Income: How to Collect At Least $36,000 a Year Extra INSTANT INCOME” that shows you “how to collect at least $3,000 every month in instant cash.”

And what surprised me was that they actually guarantee it.

Well, kinda.

According to the order page, they guarantee you'll see how to make at least $3,000 every single month. So in other words, as a member, you get the chance to make $3K per month. Which is a promise they fulfil just by sending you the alerts.

Actually making $3K monthly, however, isn't guaranteed.

Because nobody can predict the market and nobody has a strategy that can guarantee anyone makes consistent profit. So as good as this service may be, I think it's important to understand that there are ALWAYS risks involved when trading or investing.

So not everyone who joins is going to make lots of money.

Who's James Altucher?

James Altucher is a former hedge fund manager, venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and the man behind Altucher's Secret Income, as well as other services like Altucher's Investment Network.

He also runs one of the most popular podcasts in the world called The James Altucher Show and has published over 20 books, most notably his bestselling book called Choose Yourself which was listed as one of the 12 best business books of all time by USA Today.

The unique thing about James Altucher, at least in my mind, is that he's not just another stock analyst. He has actually built successful businesses from the ground up, and he has developed an impressive track record in the investing space over the years too.

This has earned him a solid reputation on Wall Street and many raving fans, because not only does he “walk the walk” but he shares his insights with his followers through his newsletters, books, podcasts and investing services.

So to sum it up, James Altucher is the real deal.

How Does Altucher's Secret Income Work?

The basic idea behind _ is to signup for the service and follow the weekly trade alerts which give you the opportunity to make the kind of “instant income” James talked about in the presentation.

On top of that, members get access to a bunch of other resources and bonuses aimed at helping you recover the cost of joining and make even more money than from the weekly alerts.

The cost of joining is $2,000 though, so it's not for everyone. But you do get a fair amount of value for that and they even throw in a free laptop from what I understand.

Here's a screenshot of the order page, that shows you what you get as a member of Altucher's Secret Income:

As you can see, there's quite a bit of value being offered for the price. So even though the service does cost $2K, it has the potential to help you make a lot more if it's as good as they claim.

Is Altucher's Secret Income Legit?

Altucher's Secret Income seems like a legitimate service.

It's run by James Ultucher, who's a real trading guru with a proven track record of success. Not to mention, the company behind it is Choose Yourself Media, LLC which is a subsidiary of Three Founders Publishing, LLC. Both of which, as far as I know, are legitimate companies.

I also think that, even though it does cost $2,000, they're offering a fair amount of value.

On the same token, that doesn’t mean you're going to get rich just by signing up. And, as with anything, I do think it pays to understand the risks involved before rushing in.

And in this case, the joining fee isn't very high, so most of the risk comes into play if you follow James' trade recommendations and they don't play out as expected. Which absolutely can happen, since nobody can predict the future or guarantee you'll make money.

James Altucher does appear to have a solid track record of success though. So I guess, for the most part, it comes down to the timeless principal of “only invest what you can afford to lose” and understanding that this is not a get rich quick thing.

Bottom Line

Altucher's Secret Income is a 12 month services headed up by James Altucher of Three Founder Publishing. The main idea behind the service is to provide you with weekly “Secret Income” Alerts for every week you're a member (52 alerts total).

On one hand, James Altucher is a legitimate guru, and the service does seem exciting, so it could be a great way to make some extra money, even if you're a beginner trader.

On the other hand, investing is risky. So I definitely wouldn't join expecting to “instantly” be making $100's or $1,000's with no risk. Because, to me, that's a bit unrealistic. As with any type of trading, you can just as easily lose your money as you can make it.

Either way, what you decide to do is up to you.

I'm not affiliated with Altucher's Secret Income, so my aim with this review was never to convince you to join, or not join, the service. My aim was just to share my opinion, which hopefully helps you make a more informed choice either way.
