The Oxford Communiqué Review (Is It The Real Deal?)

Hello and welcome to my review of The Oxford Communiqué.

I discovered The Oxford Communiqué after seeing an ad for it online, where Bill O’Reilly and Alexander Green (the man behind it) talk about how much money it could potentially make you.

Apparently, by following Alexander’s recommendations at The Oxford Club from the time he took over as Chief Investment Strategist in 2001, through to today, you could’ve turned a $150K portfolio into $1,082,241.

Which sounds cool, but is it the real deal?

Well, I decided to take a closer look to find out. Because anyone can make bold claims, but whether or not they actually deliver is another story.

In this case, however, what I found was that The Oxford Communiqué thankfully isn’t a scam. It’s actually a legitimate newsletter service developed by Alexander Green of The Oxford Club, that shows you how to make money investing in the stock market.

Alexander does share some great training, tips and resources to help you make money investing in the stock market though. So let’s take a closer look at what it’s about and how it works, to help you decide if this is the right service for you.

What Is The Oxford Communiqué?

The Oxford Communiqué is an investment newsletter service created by Alexander Green who works with a company called The Oxford Club.

The core benefit of joining is getting access to Alexander’s monthly newsletter, where he shares his investment strategy and top stock picks with subscribers.

According to the sales page, Alexander’s goal is to help you achieve a 7-figure net worth. And he does this by sharing the types of stocks he thinks are going to outperform the market based on his years of experience.

Apparently, his recommendations have outperformed the S&P 500 quite a bit over the years. To the point he has made millions of dollars and (it seems) so have some who’ve listened to him.

So I’ll admit, it sounds pretty amazing. I mean, who wouldn’t want to turn $150K into over $1 million just by taking someone’s advice?

But the truth is, not everyone who joins The Oxford Communiqué is going to make that sort of money. Because it’s just as easy to lose money in the stock market as it is to make it.

Regardless of the individual system or person behind it, there’s always a risk involved in speculating in the stock market.

On the flip side, this is one of the more well researched, less “overhyped,” newsletters out there. And it has a good track record of fairly low-risk gains.

At least, according to the Hulbert Financial Digest, which ranked it among the top 10 low-risk, max-reward performance newsletters in the U.S.

That is pretty impressive, not many newsletter services can boast such a thing. And it only costs between $49 to $129, so you’re not exactly breaking the bank to buy it.

How Does The Oxford Communiqué Work?

The way The Oxford Communiqué works is pretty straightforward. The idea is to signup for $49 on The Oxford Club website, which gives you access to the following:

  • Monthly newsletter: This is the bread and butter of the subscription. Each month, Alexander sends you his next stock recommendation and a ton of useful insight into the market, what he and his team are working on, the stocks on their watch list and so on.
  • Model portfolio: This portfolio includes every stock on Alexander’s “buy now” list. He tells you what he recommends buying, at what price and when he recommends selling
  • Weekly updates: Each week, Alexander updates you on the market, the positions he’s taken and answer frequently-asked questions to help you stay informed. This also includes the Weekly Market Wake-Up Call video segments, that include commentary from the Club’s lead strategists, as well as top industry experts.
  • Safety Switch Alerts: When it is time to buy or sell a stock, Alexander sends you a trade alert so you know when it’s time to exit a position (hopefully) before losing money.
  • Website access: All of the emails you get, along with the model portfolio, are archived in the members only website. Which makes it handy to get access to everything in one place.

As you can see, that’s a lot of value on offer for $49.

Although there is an option to pay $99 or $129 for a Premium subscription, but that’s optional. And it does depend on which page you buy through, as to which bonuses you get access to.

Either way, when you boil it all down, there’s really two main core benefits of this service. The monthly newsletters that are sent to you each month, that list a new stock you can invest in. And the model portfolio, which shows you the stocks on Alexander’s buy list.

So this is mostly about getting access to Alexander’s stock picks and related insights, with the hopes of growing your wealth over time. Which is why I think it’s important for us to look at who Alexander Green is, since he’s the person you’ll be following if you join.

So he knows his stuff and seems to enjoy sharing value with people. Not just in his newsletters, but also in some of the books he has published. Such as The Gone Fishin’ Portfolio, The Secret of Shelter Island, Beyond Wealth and An Embarrassment of Riches.

Is he the real deal? Yes, Alexander Green is a legitimate investment professional, he’s been doing this for many years and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.

He is someone who has a track record of success and who provides a lot of value to subscribers, so I think he’s worth listening to when it comes to investing.

Is The Oxford Communiqué The Real Deal?

The Oxford Communiqué is not a scam, it’s a legitimate newsletter service that aims to help subscribers of the service create a lucrative stock portfolio and reduce taxes.

I personally think that for $49 there’s not a lot of risk in buying the subscription itself. The risk more comes into play if you follow Alexander’s advice, and buy stocks that end up going down.

And since millions of people lose money speculating in the stock market each year, that is absolutely possible.

So even though it doesn’t cost much to join, it’s important to understand that nothing is guaranteed, so the money you invest is, as with any type of investing, at risk. And I think it goes without saying that this is not a way to get rich quick, it’s a long-term strategy.

Bottom Line

The Oxford Communiqué is an investment newsletter service created by Alexander Green who works with a company called The Oxford Club.

As a subscriber, you get access to Alexander’s monthly newsletter, where he shares his investment strategy and top stock picks, along with other resources aimed at helping you save money and become a successful investor.

Alexander Green is an expert investor who shares a lot of value with folks. So I personally think this could be a great depending on your goals and circumstances.

In any case, what you decide to do is up to you.

I’m not affiliated with The Oxford Communiqué or The Oxford Club, so my aim with this review was never to convince you to join, or not join, the service. As always, my aim was to simply share my opinion to help you make a more informed choice either way.
