Hello and welcome to my review of Ian King’s Strategic Fortunes.
I discovered Strategic Fortunes after receiving an email from its creator, Ian King.
Ian says that, as a subscriber, you will learn how to capitalize on the $12 Trillion 5G boom, and other tech-related opportunities, which he says will create more millionaires than any stock market event in history.
Sounds cool, but is it the real deal?
Strategic Fortunes isn’t a scam. It’s a legitimate newsletter service that’s aimed at helping subscribers make money investing in new technology like 5G and artificial intelligence. As a member, Ian shares his recommended stock picks and insights with you each month.
That said, Strategic Fortunes is a legit service that could be worth checking out if you want to learn how to invest in technology related stocks and assets.
So let’s take a closer look at what it’s about and how it works, to help you make a more informed choice about whether or not it’s right for you.
What Is Strategic Fortunes?
Strategic Fortunes is a service created by Ian King who works for a company called Banyan Hill.
The core part of the service is a monthly newsletter that shows you how to invest in the stock market. Specifically, how to invest in “tipping-point trends” in technology.
Ian identifies these trends, and then looks for the companies that he believes are set to benefit from them.
But not just any companies, he looks for companies with market capitalizations in the $2 billion to $10 billion range (midcap stocks), that are tied to a new technology that he believes is rapidly changing the world and that are set to grow earnings exponentially.
He says these companies are overlooked by Main Street and Wall Street and that, as a subscriber, you will get exclusive access to these companies, so that you can benefit from his insight.
How Does Strategic Fortunes Work?
The way Strategic Fortunes works is pretty straightforward. The idea is to signup for $47 on the Banyan Hill website, which gives you access to the following:
- Model portfolio: This portfolio includes every stock on Ian’s “buy now” list. He typically recommends 12 new stocks every year. The portfolio tells you what to buy, at what price to buy it and when to sell. If he sees a good opportunity to make money, he lets you know.
- Monthly newsletter: This is the bread and butter of the subscription. Each month, Ian dives into a specific trend tied to a recommendation he thinks you should take. This usually revolves around a new investment he’s targeting. Each month, you’ll receive a report with all the details.
- Weekly webinar: Subscribers also receive access to Ian’s weekly webinar. With these updates, he aims to keep you in the loop. Every Thursday he updates you on the current portfolio and shares his views on any events in the market he thinks you should be aware of.
- Trade alerts: Any time he thinks it’s time to sell an open position, he sends you an alert via email. He provides instructions on what to buy or sell and for how much.
- Daily briefings: Subscribers also get a free subscription to Banyan Hill’s daily email newsletter called Sovereign Investor Daily. Which contains information from other investment gurus.
- Website access: All of the emails you get, along with the model portfolio, are archived in the members only website. Which makes it handy to get access to everything in one place.
As you can see, you get a lot of value for only $47.
When you boil it all down though, there are two main benefits of this service. The monthly newsletters that are sent to you each month, that list a new stock you can invest in. And the model portfolio, which shows you every stock Ian currently has on his buy list.
You do get access to some great training though. So it’s not just about following stock picks. There’s a solid education aspect with this, within each newsletter and webinar, Ian shares his insights and market analysis with you, which is aimed at helping you become a better investor.
Who Is Ian King?
Ian King is the man who created Strategic Fortunes. He’s an expert investor who has made lots of money investing in the stock market over the past 20 years.
He started out his career at the age of 21, working for a mortgage bond trading department at Salomon Brothers. He then spent time trading at Citigroup and working for a New York hedge fund named Peahi Capital.
In 2017, he started working for Banyan Hill Publishing, where he creates newsletters like Strategic Fortunes and Crypto Profit Trader.
Based on his track record, it’s clear to see that Ian has a knack for successfully investing in trends and technology. He knows his stuff and he shares that with his subscribers.
Is he legit? Ian King is definitely a legitimate investment expert, he’s been doing this for over two decades and has worked with some of the biggest names in the investment world.
He’s also been featured on sites like Fox Business News, Investopedia, Zero Hedge, and Seeking Alpha. Not to mention, many people speak highly of his newsletters.
Is Strategic Fortunes Legit?
Strategic Fortunes is definitely a legitimate newsletter service that could potentially help you make money investing in tech-related trends in the stock market.
Such as 5G and artificial intelligence.
And I personally think that for $47 per year, there’s a lot of value on offer.
That doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed to make money though.
As with any type of investing, there are risks involved. Especially when it comes to emerging tech trends which Ian does focus on.
Regardless of how good Ian’s advice is, nobody is right all of the time, and if you buy stocks that end up going down, you could end up losing money.
Hopefully, that doesn’t happen. But I do think it’s important to consider the potential downside, as well as the potential upside, before diving in. As with anything really.
Strategic Fortunes is an investing service headed up by Ian King of Banyan Hill Publishing.
The main benefit of joining is the monthly newsletter that contains Ian’s latest stock pick and insights into why he’s interested in a given opportunity.
However, subscribers also get access to resources such as the weekly webinar, regular updates, and access to the model portfolio.
So there’s a lot to like about Strategic Fortunes. And it’s possible that by learning from Ian, and following his stock ideas, you could end up doing really well over time.
Of course, there are no guarantees, so not everyone who joins is going to make lots of money. In fact, some who join might even end up losing money.
So, even though I do think this could be worth joining depending on your goals and individual circumstances, I wouldn’t join expecting to get rich quick either.
In any case, what you decide to do is up to you.
I’m not affiliated with Ian King or Banyan Hill Publishing. So my aim with this review wasn’t to convince you to join, or not join. As always, my aim is to simply share my opinion based on what I found, which hopefully helps you make a more informed choice either way.
