The Insider Alert Review (Is It The Real Deal?)

Hello and welcome to my review of The Insider Alert.

I discovered The Insider Alert through a presentation featuring Alexander Green about a new tech investment opportunity. Apparently, his service, The Insider Alert, gives you the chance to profit like an “insider” thanks to Alex’s experience in spotting potential insider activity.

The Oxford Club website provides multiple examples of triple-digit gains that subscribers have benefited from over the years. Like 411% on Simply Good Foods, 434% on NuStar Energy, and 463% on Continental Resources. So it’s quite an exciting prospect.

And according to Alex, all you need to do to see similar potential gains is join The Insider Alert, because every time Alex finds a new opportunity, he emails his subscribers about it.

That said, The Insider Alert is a legitimate service, and it’s headed up by an investing veteran, so it could be well worth checking out if you can afford the $4,000 joining fee. So let’s take a closer look at what it’s about and how it works, so you know what to expect.

What Is The Insider Alert?

The Insider Alert is an investment advisory service published by The Oxford Club and headed up by Alexander Green. The Oxford Club is a financial publishing company that specializes in providing well-researched, timely market insights to their subscribers, and Alexander Green is a successful investor with decades of experience under his belt.

The main benefit of joining The Insider Alert is getting access to 24 new trades per year from Alexander Green over a 12 month period.

The trade opportunities are based on what Alex describes as similar to the kinds of opportunities you might see if you were a true corporate insider.

For example, learning about a company that’s about to get a takeover bid or introduce a new product, or getting insight into the company’s future earnings.

Obviously if you had access to that sort of information, you could potentially make a lot of money. And according to Alexander, the information he provides is fully legal and above board.

From what I can gather, Alex uses his experience, connections and skillset to find these opportunities and share them with subscribers, legally. And if what he’s saying is true, he’s been helping his subscribers make multiple triple-digit gains over the years.

It certainly sounds exciting.

I mean, who wouldn’t want the chance to double, triple or quadruple your money, just by following the trades someone else recommends? And I guess anything is possible when you’re following in the footsteps of someone with a proven track record.

But I also think it’s important to consider the potential risks involved. Because, regardless of the individual service or “guru” behind it, there’s always a chance you could end up losing money.

That’s just the way it is – there are no guarantees.

That doesn’t make it a scam or anything, but I do think it’s worth pointing out that not everyone who joins The Insider Alert is going to make lots of money.

And even though there’s a “double your money” guarantee, that doesn’t (really) mean you’re guaranteed to make money. If you read it carefully, it means you’re guaranteed to “get the chance” to double your money. Specifically, 10 chances.

In other words, The Oxford Club guarantees to provide you with 10 trade recommendations that might double your money over a 12 month period. And if they don’t, you get a second year free.

Who’s Alexander Green – Real Investing Guru?

Alexander Green
Alexander Green of The Oxford Club

Alexander Green is the the Chief Investment Strategist of The Oxford Club and the main man behind The Insider Alert service. He also publishes lower priced services like The Oxford Communiqué.

Alexander is an expert investor, and has seen considerable success in the stock market over the past couple of decades. Especially within the world of momentum investing, value investing and investing based on insider activity.

Before writing for the Oxford Club, Alex worked as an investment advisor, research analyst and portfolio manager on Wall Street for 16 years.

He’s also published popular books including The Gone Fishin’ Portfolio, The Secret of Shelter Island, Beyond Wealth and An Embarrassment of Riches.

Is he the real deal? Yes, Alexander Green is a legitimate investing professional, he’s been doing this for many years and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.

He is someone who has a track record of success and who provides a lot of value to subscribers, so I think he’s worth listening to when it comes to investing.

How Does The Insider Alert Work?

The main benefit of joining The Insider Alert is getting access to 24 trade recommendations over the 12 months you’re a member. However, on top of this, you also get access to a model portfolio, profit alerts, updates and other resources aimed at helping you profit like an insider.

Here’s a breakdown of what you get as a member of The Insider Alert:

  • 12 months access to The Insider Alert
  • 24 Insider Trade Recommendations
  • Profit Alerts (specific email instructions from Alex)
  • Insider Alert Model Portfolio
  • Model Portfolio Updates (weekly updates on all positions in the model portfolio)

To get started, you first need to signup to the service on the The Oxford Club website for $4,000. And once you’ve joined, you get access to the service, along with some bonus reports depending on which page you joined through.

For example, here’s some of the bonuses on offer as of writing:

  • Bonus Report No. 1: “3 Breakout Insider Buys to Make TODAY”
  • Bonus Report No. 2: “Alexander Green’s Definitive Guide to Profiting From Insiders”
  • Bonus Report No. 3: “The 15 Perfect Traders to Follow”
  • Bonus Three-Part Video Series: Options the Easy Way

$4K is a lot to pay for an advisory service, but I guess if Alex’s trade recommendations are as good as he says they are, it could be worth it depending on how much capital you have to invest.

Is The Insider Alert Legit?

Yes, The Insider Alert is a legitimate service.

It’s a real investing advisory service that’s aimed at helping you profit from Alexander Green’s experience and insights as successful investor. And considering his track record of success over the past couple decades, there’s definitely some exciting potential here.

On the same token, that doesn’t mean you’re going to get rich just by signing up. And, as with anything, I do think it pays to understand the risks involved before rushing in.

And in this case, the joining fee is fairly high, so there’s a lot riding on the trade recommendations being solid. If they are, good and well. If not, you could lose the $4,000 and whatever you invest in the market.

Hopefully the latter doesn’t happen, but nobody can predict the future, so anything is possible, which is why I think it pays to be cautious with things like this.

Bottom Line

The Insider Alert is an investment advisory service published by The Oxford Club and headed up by Alexander Green. The Oxford Club is a financial publishing company, and Alexander Green is a successful investor with decades of experience under his belt.

On one hand, this service could be a great way to make considerable gains with relatively low effort. Just follow what Alex recommends and hope it plays out as expected.

On the other hand, I think it goes without saying that there really are no guarantees. And $4,000 is a lot of money, so it might be worth considering a lower cost alternative like The Oxford Communiqué, and seeing how that plays out, before risking such a large amount.

Either way, what you decide to do is up to you.

I’m not affiliated with The Insider Alert or The Oxford Club, so my aim with this review was never to convince you to join, or not join, the service. My aim was just to share my opinion, which hopefully helps you make a more informed choice either way.
